When our mom + pup photos don't go to plan...

To try and bring more attention to pet photography, I booked a 54 acre private dog park in Conifer, CO. to bring my pups to and take some photos. All week I was checking the weather, I got my hair done, I planned the perfect outfit, and just as Colorado likes to do- we ended up arriving to the dog park right as a surprise thunderhead settled on top of us. I debated going home and trying again another day, but I drove an hour to get there and my dogs were READY to go run. So they did.

This property was STUNNING and everything I had hoped for our pictures. With a gorgeous meadow just a short hike down from the car, and trees on all sides, my dogs had so much fun running around in the rain. After ten or so minutes of uncontrollable zoomies, the dogs were ready to lock in for some pictures.

We were all soaked by the time we got back to the car, but had so much fun none the less. We will book this location again with hopefully better weather, however, I LOVE how our pictures turned out and I am so thankful for the day we had.
